The Landlord Médina: Kasbahost, official franchisee for the Medina of Tunis
Our houses carry the The Landlord Médina name. Kasbahost runs them day to day as the official The Landlord franchisee for the Medina of Tunis: the strength of a network, with a local team that remains your only point of contact.

What is The Landlord?
The Landlord is a short-term rental management company founded in 2019. It manages homes on behalf of owners in Tunisia and France, and markets them under its own brand, on its website, its app and the major booking platforms.

What being the official Medina franchisee means
The Landlord grows its network by entrusting certain areas to franchisees. Kasbahost is the official franchisee for the Medina of Tunis: the houses we run in the old city are offered under the The Landlord Médina name, with the network’s standards and tools.
That means two things. On one side, our houses benefit from a brand guests know, a direct booking channel and methods proven across more than a hundred properties. On the other, all the work on the ground is done by Kasbahost: our reception, our housekeeping and maintenance teams, our driver and our management.
The Medina is a place apart: pedestrian alleys, old houses, close-knit neighbours and more than 700 monuments, including the Zitouna Mosque. To work there, a national network needs a team that is present every day. That is Kasbahost’s role.

Who does what
Kasbahost remains your point of contact
A franchise can raise a fair question: who exactly is the owner dealing with? The answer is simple.
- Kasbahost signs with the owner, runs the house, employs the team, prepares the monthly statements and answers for the house day to day.
- The Landlord provides the brand, the booking website and app, the network’s software and its methods.
- The owner keeps ownership of the property, checks statements and the online account, and can block their own dates.
For any question about your property, you speak to Kasbahost. Kasbahost is run by Hichem Mathlouthi, Managing Director, and Nour El Houda Kaouach, Legal Manager (gérante). Both are co-founders. About us · Contact us
