Traveller Review Awards 2026Booking.comWho we are
Kasbahost — one word — is a guesthouse management company based in Tunis. Kasbahost SARL runs restored dars and apartments day to day in the Medina of Tunis, the old city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are neither a travel agency nor a booking site: we are the team that keeps the houses running, from putting the listings online to serving breakfast in the patio.
Our work has two sides. For property owners, we take on the full operation of a guesthouse or a short-term rental apartment, either for a commission on revenue or for a fixed rent. For travellers, we offer six addresses in the Medina, looked after by a team that is there day and night.
Kasbahost is the official The Landlord franchisee for the Medina of Tunis: our houses carry the “The Landlord Médina” name and use the network's tools, while Kasbahost remains the point of contact and the party responsible for every property. Kasbahost is run by Hichem Mathlouthi, Managing Director, and Nour El Houda Kaouach, Legal Manager (gérante). Both are co-founders. Our story and our team.
